The X-001 welded oblong master link is the suspension element of chain, wire rope and webbing slings with 1–2 legs. It is made of quenched and tempered alloy steel and covers working load limits (WLL) of 2.8–45 tonnes at a β angle of 0–45°, for Grade 100 chain of 6–32 mm. It is manufactured in accordance with ASTM A952/A952M, ASME B30.9, ASME B30.26, EN 1677-4 and OSHA 1910.184, with a design factor of 5:1 and DGUV GS-HM-37 certification. Unlike the X-002, which has a design factor of 4:1, the X-001 is rated 5:1 and is DGUV certified.

  • At least 25% greater WLL than traditional G80 products.
  • Manufactured in accordance with ASTM A952/A952M, ASME B30.9, ASME B30.26, EN 1677-4 and OSHA 1910.184.
  • Certified by DGUV GS-HM-37.
  • Proof load tested at 2.5 times the WLL, with certification for each batch manufactured.
  • Design factor 5:1.
  • Fatigue rated to 20,000 cycles at 1.5 times the WLL.
  • Tempering temperature minimum 400°C.
  • Welded master link designed for 1-2 legs chain, wire rope and webbing slings.
