The YOKE 8-837 shackle is made of forged carbon steel with an alloy pin, quenched and tempered. It meets the performance requirements of US Federal Specification RR-C-271 (Type IVA, Grade A, Class 2) and is CE and UKCA type approved. Each shackle is permanently marked with size and Working Load Limit and has a traceability code linked to its test certificate.
