The DA-018 omega link is made of forged, quenched and tempered alloy steel, with DNV certification (offshore), and is used with Grade 80 chain of 6–20 mm. It covers working load limits (WLL) of 1.12–12.5 tonnes. It is tested and manufactured in accordance with DNV-ST-E271, DNV-ST-E273 and EN 1677-1, with a design factor of 4:1, and impact resistance is verified by Charpy testing (42 joules at -20°C).
