It meets the performance requirements of US Federal Specification RR-C-271 and its use is certified to DNV-ST-E271 and DNV-ST-E273, making it suitable for offshore applications. Every shackle is 100% magnaflux crack detected during manufacturing and carries a traceability code linked to its test certificate.<\/p>\n<h3>Features<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Shackles are forged alloy steel with alloy pin, quenched and tempered.<\/li>\n<li>Charpy tested in accordance with DNV-ST-E271.<\/li>\n<li>Meet the performance requirements of US Federal Specification RR-C-271, Type IVA, Grade A, Class 3.<\/li>\n<li>Application of shackles certified in accordance with DNV-ST-E271 and DNV-ST-E273.<\/li>\n<li>Size and the Working Load Limit permanently shown on each shackle.<\/li>\n<li>All shackles with Traceability Code which links to Test Certificate and quality traceability.<\/li>\n<li>Proof tested to 2 times the WLL.<\/li>\n<li>Design factor 8:1.<\/li>\n<li>20,000 cycle fatigue rated to 1.5 times Working Load Limit.<\/li>\n<li>100% magnaflux crack detection during manufacturing.<\/li>\n<li>Charpy test of 42 joules (31ft-lb) at -40\u00b0C (-40\u00b0F) for normal section.<\/li>\n<li>Hot dip galvanized.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>ELCAR is the official YOKE representative in Romania.
